About Us

 Mr. Butler is a native of Ocala, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.

During law school, Mr. Butler was an active member of the trial advocacy team, and participated in winning first place in the Florida Bar Chester Bedell Memorial Mock Trial Competition. He was a Florida Bar Scholarship recipient and made the National Dean’s list. He was an intern for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Honorable Michael G. Williamson (Tampa, Florida). He was also an intern for the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court (Ocala, Florida).

After receiving his J.D., Mr. Butler went on to obtain his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law and Finance from Widener University School of Law. He subsequently worked for prominent law firms in Washington, D.C., and Maryland handling matters including, but not limited to, government contracts, corporate compliance, litigation, antitrust, fraud, unfair business practices, general corporate, and healthcare, before establishing his own practice, the Butler Law Firm, LLC.
